Why I chose MATC

In this post I will be discussing why I chose MATC as the college to earn my degree at. The degree I chose My work experience. How I feel about my decision. Lastly the progress I've made so far at MATC

I chose MATC as it gave me the most for my dollars. It had the program I wanted to get into which was developer/programmer it also had the degree I wanted  which is Software developer and Simulation. Another reason is that the professors at MATC know what they're doing and have experience in the field I'm going for also the professors care about their students. Thanks to MATC I got a internship and did C# programming and bug fixing in that internship with my prior job experience as a IT assistant at UW-Waukesha these two jobs really help me to stand out and make me more well rounded experience and skill wise.

 MATC also made me become more active as a student too as I was the Treasurer of MATC Mothership organization for several months  I also joined a Java meet up group and I participated in a nation wide game jam as a programmer. Another thing is I'm almost about to graduate too and I have a 3.4 GPA which I feel is solid as that's a B+  grade average for the most part.



So over all  I made the right decision with going to MATC.  I'm making progress at the college.   I Still have a ways to go with my path with MATC but its a rewarding  to say the least.

What Makes a Website Tick

It's always nice to see a good looking or a well functioning website. I always find it fascinating. I always immediately view page source to look at some of the code. I like you can do that so you can get a understanding of how they made their website that way. Sadly you only get a limited view of what they did to make the website as view page source doesn't allow you to see the PHP or JavaScript or the CSS mostly only the HTML code. The HTML code sometimes also contains small amounts JavaScript or CSS but most of it is on separate files. I can imagine though what some of the CSS or JavaScript or even PHP looks like even without access or view of those files. I just find it all very fascinating. I especially enjoy the little snips of JavaScript code.  I mean in this screenshot of bloggers HTML code a lot of CSS code  and apparently it's using a lot of "open sans" font style. TED Talks- Deep learning AI review

These are the questions I will answer in this blog. What was the topic and argument of the presentation? How were visual or other props used in the presentation? Was it effective? Were questions asked? Humor used? How was the pacing? Was there a ‘path’ through the presentation? Were you engaged or inspired? The TED talk I watched was on new generation of computers programming themselves or another way to put it deep learning artificial intelligence.  In this TED talk power point and video and images were presented ranging from video footage of what a self driving car sees to photos of different types of skin diseases. I believe they were effective I believe if they weren't used the presentation would have been a lot less impressive. Some of the questions that were asked were concerns of a AI learning to much and going out of control this brushed off by explaining that all AI so far are specific AI and not general AI.  Humor was used but the audience didn't find it that fu
